Sweet-natured Pang (Meesuke Jangmeesuke), the tomboyish Pom
(Patcharasri Benjamas) who works for a female magazine, the slightly
air-headed Pat (Kulnudda Pachimsawat) who is a Japanese man old enough to be her father, the stingy Fai (Pimonwan Suphayang) who henpecks her
and runs a beauty salon, and Nim (Ornpreeya Hoonsart), who is a sex
counsellor. The girls meet up for lunch and Pang announces her
engagement to them. As the other girls are recovering from this sudden
news, in walks a man whom Pom targets. As the other girls snicker away, Pang waves at him and introduces him as Kong (Thienchai Jayasvati)!
Now,
the girls are determined that Pang is marrying the wrong man. How could
he not be gay? Kong apparently has excellent culinary skills in
steamboat cuisine (he knows how to cook mushrooms better than them),
knows more about the Estee Lauder sales, and has great taste in
choosing a pair of earrings for Pom. It's harder to tell a person's
character and sexuality in this modern time - according to Fai -
especially when there are metrosexuals around. Desperate, the girls
enlist the help of Pat's gay brother, Bee (Michael Chaowanasai), a Thai
Airways steward, who gives them tips.
So what are the tips to
determining if a person is gay? Apparently, the age-old tactic of
looking to see which side of the ear the man is wearing his earring
doesn't cut it anymore. Anyone can wear it on either side and still not
be gay, according to Bee. Dispensing his knowledge to the four
'sleuths'; he writes them a list to determine if Kong is gay, such as
checking his apartment for gay porn and checking if he has any gay
relatives (for the gay gene).
